We are a married couple, Ignat and Tanya Matveyev.
We have always sought new forms of self-expression and strived for interdisciplinary projects. We believe that art should be accessible and interactive.
About creativity
We explore the point of transformation—the intersection of digital and material, where a new hybrid reality is born. We are interested in the technological trace: its imprint on human experience, corporeality, and perception. We focus on moments of transition, distortion, and irreversible change.
Our goal is to find a new way of interacting between people, technology, and the environment, leading to a shift in perception and a total rethinking of the world. We don't provide answers—we ask questions.
Our method is based on the purposeful connection of the incompatible, using the "double lens method." We create connections between "errors": glitches in code, artifacts of digital noise, tactile interference. In this system, a glitch becomes the end result and a new statement. We use error as a language, and the relationship between them as grammar.
